Biography
PETER SPARKS BIO Peter Sparks began studying art at the age of 14 under the training and direction of Master Artist Burford E. Evans in Houston, Texas. Peter got his first experience with art exhibits and culture at Luther South High School. He continued to fine-tune his unique styles of art as he expresses himself through many different types of mixed media, colors, music, and by observing the world around him. His passion for art shines through with a blending of expressionistic abstract, transforming color to life. His work has been recognized in Burford E. Evans Art Studio and has been displayed for a non-for profit organization in Houston, Tx. His work has also been displayed at Speak Easy’s in Austin, Tx and is currently viewed at the University of Texas ISESE Gallery. Peter plans to continue his passion for art by working on five different series of art. His favorite series is call Agape art. This series allows him to express his love for God. Which in turns helps to bring out a nature and true expression of his work to others. As he continues to grow in art, he has come to understand that art has a strong purpose in his life, and in others as well.
