Biography |

Artist Louis Copt was born in Emporia, Kansas. He graduated from Emporia State University in 1971 with a degree in painting.
Copt began his career as a full time artist in 1984 after studying at the Art Students League in New York City. The focus for Copt?s art is Kansas, the Flint Hills, the annual prairie burning and figure painting.
