Biography |
| Jim is self taught. Having always wanted to draw but never having had time until retirement about 6/7 years ago. His favorite catgory is 'Old Home Places',ancestoral family homes from many years past, taken from available old photos, some of which are black and white. Trim colors, etc., can be supplied by the customer or just guessed at. Another favorite of Jim's is his Pet On A Rock project in which he paints family pets...alive or from old photos....on pieces of native Kansas limestone. Having started at a late age, Jim is enjoying himself providing people with cherishable artwork ...and himself ... a feeling of satisafaction in having done so.
