Biography |
| My name is Joe Hlywiak. I am a native Ohioan who moved to California in 1998. I currently reside in Camarillo, CA, in Ventura County, northwest of Los Angeles. I began abstract painting as a hobby in 2002 and have never taken any formal lessons. Most of my work is with acrylic and oil media, but I do some mixed media work which includes poured and sprayed enamels.
I have sold over 60 pieces of my artwork, mostly to friends, co-workers, and a dozen or so on websites like e-Bay. That said, I do not consider myself a professional, but it is nice to have some money coming back to help me buy more supplies to continue to do a hobby I love.
